- What is CISOForge?
- It is TuthorIA's own platform for teaching cybersecurity, from zero to CISO. Students move through paths with prerequisites, submit evidence and get a grade. These are not videos: they are assignments that get graded, with content written by people who run a SOC every day.
- How do the browser-based labs work?
- Students enter a real environment from the school's browser. There are incident, firewall, SIEM and forensic analysis scenarios; each lab is opened by the teacher when appropriate and the environment resets itself between courses.
- What do Minecraft and Roblox offer, and for which grades?
- They are experiences for the youngest students, from elementary school through the first years of high school. Cybersecurity comes in through play: passwords, scams and backups. The teacher guides them, with no public servers, in one-class-period activities and with printed material for the in-person class.
- What does the teacher see in the console?
- They see who logged in, who submitted and where the class got stuck, without asking the IT department for anything. The console shows attendance and progress per student, lets the teacher open and close labs, and exports grades for the school's system.
- Do students install anything or touch the school network?
- No. Students work from the school's browser, with nothing to install and without touching the school network. The whole lab environment runs separately and resets itself between courses.
- How are students assessed?
- With a gradebook on the Chilean 1 to 7 grading scale. CISOForge assignments are graded and produce a grade, and the teacher can export the grades to the school's system. The detail of the assessment model is in the brochure.
